Composition: Avimec Spot-on Solution is a clear, yellowish solution containing 1,0 mg Ivermectin per 1 ml solution.
Description: Avimec Spot-on solution is used for the control of external parasites such as tick (Argus persicus, Argus reflex), louse (Columbicola columbae), fleas and mite in cage birds like budgies, canaries and parrots.
There are many parasites such as ticks, louse, fleas and mites on birds, in their cages and in columbaries (pigeon houses). These parasites prevent the birds from growing, developing and utilizing from their feeds and decreases the capacity of proliferation, and thus causing directly or indirectly to mortality of the birds. Parasites cause birds to look tired, beaten and sick. Avimec Spot-on solution extinguishes these parasites as well as their larvae and ovums. It has a protective effect. It shows its protective effect by killing the parasites remained in the cage and columbary. Avimec Spot-on solution is used for the controlling of external parasites such as tick (Argus persicus, Argus reflex), louse (Columbicola columbae), fleas and mite in cage birds like budgies, canaries and parrots.
Usage and Dosage: Avimec Spot-on solution is dropped to the back of birds neck through its shoulders. It should be applied every other week for 3 times. This application mode is important, especially in the case of hatching of the ovums and converting into the larvae. The cage, perch and bowl of the animal should be disinfected against reenfestation.
1 Drop (0,05ml) of Avimec Spot-on solution is dropped for each 60 g body weight.

60 g – 120 g : 2 drops
120 g – 180 g : 3 drops
180 g – 260 g : 4 drops
Over 480 g : 8 drops
